This summer, the PNE is introducing comedy to its much beloved Summer Night Concert series for the first time ever! Gerry Dee, one of Canada’s biggest and most popular comedians, is coming to Vancouver to perform on Saturday, August 24th, on the Chevrolet Stage in the Pacific Coliseum.

 

Currently travelling North America on his “Gerry Dee: Funny You Should Say That” tour, the comedian has delighted audiences for years, both on stage and on screen. Dee’s quick wit is on display as the host of “Family Feud Canada,” in addition to his role as Templeton Dudge in the Fox sitcom “Animal Control.”

 

Dee was the star and co-creator of the hit CBC comedy “Mr. D” and his first book, “Teaching: It’s Harder Than It Looks” was released in 2012 and is a national bestseller. His other credits include “Last Comic Standing,” “Trailer Park Boys: The Movie,” and “The Moodys.”

 

The Summer Night Concerts will run every evening the Fair is open, starting on Saturday, August 17th, on the Chevrolet Stage in the Pacific Coliseum. Attendees of the PNE Fair can anticipate captivating and diverse performances this year, showcasing iconic figures from music history in Pop, Rock, and R&B, along with rising stars in the industry, and admission to the Fair is FREE with the purchase of a concert ticket!
