Tatanka Means is an award-winning actor and stand-up comedian from the Navajo Nation in Chinle, Arizona. He represents the Oglala Lakota, Yankton Dakota, Dine' and Omaha Nations. Means can be seen most recently in the Oscar-nominated Martin Scorsese Western crime drama film, “Killers of the Flower Moon”, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Robert De Niro. Means can also be seen in Kevin Costner’s new Western Saga, “Horizon: Chapter 1”. He stars in the upcoming film, "Wind River: Rising" as well as the much-anticipated A24 horror film “Opus” alongside Ayo Edebiri, Juliette Lewis and John Malkovich. His other recent work includes the critically acclaimed “Reservation Dogs.” He can be seen next in the new Netflix series “Ransom Canyon.” Aside from acting, Means performs stand-up comedy throughout Indian Country spreading the good medicine of laughter to all ages. He was recently a featured comedian on the PBS special, "Roots of Comedy," with Jesus Trejo. He was named "Entertainer of The Year" by the National Indian Gaming Association. He is proud to be an alcohol & drug-free sober performer.
