Dating back to the first punchline ever told, comedy has helped us make sense of the world and ourselves. The reflexive and disarming nature of laughter engages, evokes emotions, fosters empathy, and has the ability to disrupt and change the perceptions of even the most skeptical audiences.

In this panel we’ll talk to some of the most hilarious social changemakers in comedy about how they have used their platform to spotlight inequities and alter the narrative around cultural representation, mental health and social justice issues all with the power of jokes.
