Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster.

In 2018, Ed co-created Off Menu with fellow host James Acaster. In 2019 and 2020 it was nominated for Best Comedy Podcast at the British Podcast Awards. Guests have included Robert De Niro, Jeff Goldblum, Nicola Coughlan, Jada Pinkett Smith and Kumail Nanjiani. To date, it consistently tops iTunes and UK Comedy Podcast charts with over 100 million downloads in 195 different countries.

Crowned the series nine champion of Taskmaster (Dave/Channel 4), Ed is the host of the Taskmaster Podcast. He was also a judge on series 17, 18, 19 and 20 of BBC Two’s Great British Menu, a guest-host on BBC One’s Pointless, and has co-hosted a Radio X Show with Matthew Crosby since 2019. In 2024, he became the host of The Traitors: Uncloaked (BBC2 and BBC Sounds), as well as The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked in 2025. Additional TV credits include: Mock the Week (BBC Two), Celebrity Hunted (Channel 4), Man Down (Channel 4) and Blankety Blank (BBC One).

He toured his twice-extended stand-up show, Blizzard, in 2019 with his special, Blood Sugar, being released the same year on Amazon Prime. His 2022 tour, Electric, was given an Autumn extension after selling out multiple venues in its initial run. Following the success of his most recent tour, Hot Diggity Dog has been extended into 2025 and 2026 with dates across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and America.
